I have been hearing “Peace, peace . . .” from many in the media and many in the Church these past few days. But perhaps we should consider:

We as a nation kill 600,000 children in the womb every year. And this past week a sweeping new order was implemented that removed all the barriers to sending our tax money to other countries for this atrocity. 600,000 just turned into millions!
We as a nation desecrate God’s sacred design of men, women, marriage, and sexuality. And this past week a sweeping new order was implemented that legislated that a man can participate in woman’s sports, while a man can freely have access to women’s locker rooms and restrooms. And this all must be accepted.
We as a nation indoctrinate our children with evil secular-humanistic ideology. And this past week a sweeping new order was implemented that removed teaching our children our actual history with its roots in the Judeo-Christian worldview. And it follows that we teach children pernicious theories like Critical Race Theory, that self identity and sexual perversion is celebrated, and atheistic Marxist-Leninism is our nation’s hope.

Our Nation is not the Church. But when false prophets came to God’s Covenant people saying “Peace, peace,” God’s prophets warned otherwise, “Repent- Judgment is coming.” (Jer. 6:14-19; Ezek. 13:8-16).

Awake O sleeper! (Eph. 5:14.) Judgment begins in the household of God (1 Ptr. 4:17).

It’s time those that claim the Name of Christ to repent of the ways we live, but also the things we affirm-even passively, and the evil things we have believed.
