since he was a boy dan has been an avid outdoorsman…
Beginning the first time his father took him to the deer blind at 4 years old, continuing to his first snow-shoe rabbit hunt at 12 years old, Dan still actively finds himself outside any chance he gets. After the Lord saved Dan, the “outdoors” took on a new meaning as “God’s Creation” and the great sport of the hunt became an opportunity to seek souls, not just wildlife. Through nearly 35 years of ministry, he has lead dozens of hunting trips, hosted several hundred men in unique outdoor retreat adventures from Catalina Island in California, to the Colorado Rockies, to the plains of North Dakota, to the wilderness of Canada, and numerous hosted in his Kansas home. He’s been a regular speaker at many Men’s Events and Conferences while he has witnessed men come to Christ, built relationships with countless others, and discipled a great many along the way. The Lord has moved powerfully through the outdoors aspect of Dan’s ministry and he prays the Lord enables his mind & body to minister outside for years to come.
